Canopy – found fabrics, handkerchiefs, soft pastel illustrations, film photos - 2021

This installation piece acts as a tent that the viewer can enter and view a series of soft pastel illustrations and film photos that represent positive childhood memories while words written directly on the wall describe negative childhood memories. The canopy represents the sense of safety that comes along with the nostalgia of one's past.
